iPhone6s-RoseGold-BackFront-HeroFish-PR-PRINTIt is no secret that Apple’s iPhones are highly-desirable handsets, and with the launch of the new iPhones, Apple is reportedly set on selling even more units than ever. However despite the large number of sales, there is an even bigger number of people out there who cannot afford it, although some have resorted to some dangerous means to get their hands on one.

It seems that over in China, two men named Wu and Huang really wanted the iPhone 6s. However neither of them could afford it and apparently they had an idea of selling their kidneys, pool the money, and purchase the device. They reckoned that they could survive with a kidney each and managed to find an agent on the internet to facilitate the sale.

The agent then told them to go to a hospital to get examined to determine if their kidneys were healthy, but unfortunately for them the agent did not show up. Wu decided to back out of the plan at this point, but Huang decided to stick to it, forcing Wu to call the authorities on him. However Huang managed to escape and has since been unreachable.

It might sound like a ridiculous story but this is not the first time we’ve seen such desperation. A few years ago, a teen sold his kidney for an iPad where he was later hospitalized, presumably due to the shoddy operation involved.
