Product placements in movies have become more and more prominent these days, that if we were to miss out on a particular item in the movies, it might seem to be a travesty. I remember that the entire Transformers movie can be considered to be a really, really long ad as well if you were to have a keen eye for things. Having said that, Sony has already rolled out two “Made for Bond” teasers which will promote the upcoming 007 film known as “Spectre”, as well as the flagship Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone.

The movie-quality ad that you see above was filmed using Sony’s F65 professional 4K cinema camera, where it was directed by Danny Kleinman. One of Bond’s mainstay characters of yore, Miss Moneypenny, was seen making good use of Sony’s new Sony’s RX100 IV in order to keep tabs on the baddies while she herself is set on completing an important task – that is, to deliver James Bond’s brand new Sony Xperia Z5 to the British superspy.

Sounds fine and dandy, really, but we do hope that Bond himself will not end up in a situation where he will need to shoot photos while he is submerged underwater, as Sony themselves do not want you to use the handset while you are underwater. This despite the Xperia Z5 being a waterproof phone!
