new_nexus5_2015We have been hearing and seeing a lot of rumors and photos of 2015’s Nexus handsets. According to the rumors, there will be two handsets, one from LG and one from Huawei. Recently a photo of the Nexus 5 (2015) from LG made its way online, and now thanks to AndroidPIT, new photos have surfaced.

It should be noted that AndroidPIT were the ones who got their hands on the previously leaked photo, so this is actually the same photo but from a different angle. As you can see in the image above, this angle gives us a look at the side of the phone. Below the Nexus 5 (2015) is the original Nexus 5 which was also made by LG.

As you can tell, it seems that LG has not deviated too drastically from the design of the original Nexus 5. Its edges might be rounder but you can definitely see some similarities in terms of design. However in the photo, it shows that the buttons on the Nexus 5 (2015) have been moved lower.

The upper button is probably for the power/sleep function, but it’s hard to tell if the lower button is a button for the volumes, or if it is the slot for the SIM card. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but so far all the leaks have been pretty consistent. The rumors claim we can expect an announcement on the 29th of September, so check back with us then for the details.
