Nexus fans have had much to gawk at recently, not only did pictures of the retail packaging of the upcoming Nexus smartphones leak out but we’ve also been treated to some very official looking press renders of the Huawei Nexus 6P. Don’t forget the fact that LG has been working on a new Nexus smartphone as well which will be called the Nexus 5X, earlier today the specifications of this handset were revealed and now a press render has been leaked online.

From the looks of it the LG Nexus 5X has a plain and simple design upfront, there are two grilles up front which are likely going to house the front facing speakers. There’s a fingerprint on the back and above that you’ll find the camera lens.

The other render shows that this handset is likely going to be offered in three color choices though it’s hard to ascertain what the colors really look like in real life, renders don’t always offer an accurate portrayal.

As far as the specifications are concerned LG’s Nexus smartphone is believed to have a 5.2 inch full HD display with a Snapdragon 808 processor underneath and possibly 2GB RAM. It may also have a USB Type-C port that’s still not that common in mobile devices, oh and it will one of the first smartphones to ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box.
