galaxy-mega-on-tenaa-1Rumors of Samsung working on a device called the Galaxy Mega On have been well-documented. In fact it was only a couple of weeks ago that benchmarks of the alleged device made their way online, giving us a glimpse at some of its purported hardware specs in the process.

Now thanks to a listing on China’s TENAA (via Vine Report) which is basically the country’s equivalent of the FCC, we have photos of the device which you can see in the picture above. Based on what we know about the handset so far, its hardware specs aren’t particularly impressive, but what’s impressive here is the incredibly thin bezels on the front of the phone.

This helps make the phone’s display appear to be larger than it really is, while at the same time cutting down its size to make it more manageable to be held in one hand. Unfortunately the photo quality isn’t that great so it’s hard to tell if Samsung has done anything to the rear of the phone, but so far it just looks like a regular Samsung Galaxy handset.

In terms of specs, here’s a quick recap for those who might have missed out or forgotten. The Galaxy Mega On, based on the benchmarks and rumors, is said to feature a 5.5-inch HD display. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 412 chipset can be found with 1.5GB of RAM, a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, 8GB of storage with microSD card support, and a 3,000mAH battery.

No word on when the handset will be launched, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information.
