sc2_allied_commanders_4Are you looking forward to the final chapter in the current StarCraft story? If you are, you’re probably wondering when StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void title will be released. Blizzard has yet to officially announce the release date of the game, but we won’t have to wait much longer to find out.

Blizzard has announced via its StarCraft 2 blog that come 13th of September, they will be hosting the StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void world premiere. This premiere will basically show off the game’s cinematic along with its release date, something which we’re sure many are looking forward to.

The game will be previewed further than what’s already been shown as well, along with the WCS Season 3 finals. Now we have heard that it is possible that the game could be released by the end of the year, so hopefully this world premiere will confirm that for us. In the meantime the game is also available for pre-ordering for those who are interested.

Just as a quick recap, pre-ordering will grant players early access to the Whisper of Oblivion prologue missions, so if that sounds tempting, you should go ahead and pre-order your copy, and check back with us on the 13th of September for the details.
