An announcement by Blizzard earlier this month confirmed that StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will be officially released on the 10th of November. We’re sure that many gamers are looking forward to its release, and now thanks to a new video posted by Blizzard, we are getting additional story information about the upcoming game.

Dubbed “Reclamation”, this is a video that you’ll want to watch before getting into the expansion as it does provide a bit more background and context. Gamers who are planning on playing the expansion just for the story will be able to appreciate this as well. For those who are hearing about Legacy of the Void for the first time, this is the third and final installment of the StarCraft 2 franchise.

It is also expected to conclude the story that StarCraft has going for it right now, meaning that your current favorite characters like Kerrigan, Raynor, and etc. will have their stories concluded. Moving forward it means that future StarCraft titles might be approaching the game with an entirely new story, which we suppose is fine.

The expansion will also be sold as a standalone game meaning that you won’t need the original StarCraft 2 to play it. Pre-orders are already live and will be priced at $39.99 for the standard, and $59.99 for the digital deluxe, so pop on over to Blizzard’s website to pre-order it.
