iPhone6s-4Color-RedFish-PR-PRINTEarlier this week T-Mobile announced an iPhone trade-in program in which if you were to bring in your old iPhone 6, you would be able to trade it in for a new iPhone 6s and pay $5 a month in repayments, versus the $20 a month that you would have to pay if you did not trade in your older device.

It looks like Sprint is not taking this offer lying down and has since announced their own counter-offer. If $5 a month was still more than you would have liked to pay, Sprint’s new program will only see you pay $1 a month for the iPhone 6s 16GB, or $5 a month if you’d rather get the iPhone 6s Plus.

According to Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure, “New and existing customers who trade in their current iPhone 6 can now get a device for only $1/month, making it the best way to get the iPhone – and a yearly upgrade is included in this charge. We are certain that more people will continue to switch to Sprint because of the great service and value we offer.”

Now if you don’t have the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus but have an iPhone 5s, don’t worry because you can still take part in this program. It will cost you more at $10 a month for the iPhone 6s, and $14 a month if you’d rather get the larger iPhone 6s Plus.
