In yet another move to shake up the country’s wireless industry T-Mobile confirmed today that it’s expanding Simple Global roaming to 20 more countries across the globe, this means that subscribers traveling in all of Europe and all of South America no longer have to worry about roaming fees when using their number abroad. All T-Mobile Simple Choice customers get Simple Global as a free add-on, it provides unlimited data and texting at no extra cost to the country in a total of 145 countries and destinations as well as low flat-rate calls for $0.20 per minute.

At the launch of this service only 115 countries and destinations were covered, since then the carrier has worked hard to add more to the list. Now it claims that Simple Global covers over 90 percent of the trips that Americans take abroad every year.

Most notable addition to the list today is the Bahamas where more than 2 million Americans travel every year and now those travelers no longer have to worry about add-on plans or expensive roaming charges.

Simple Global covers T-Mobile users outside North America, the carrier also has a plan called Mobile without Borders which provides calls to landlines and mobile as well as 4G LTE data from your plan across the United States as well as Canada and Mexico.
