v-moda-crossfade-wirelessIf you are looking for a pair of headphones that has received pretty favorable reviews and looks more edgy compared to most headphones, then V-Moda’s Crossfade headphones are worth checking out. Now if the fact that they were wired kind of put you off, you’re in luck because the company has recently announced the wireless versions.

Basically V-Moda has taken the fan-favorite Crossfade M-100 headphones and turned them wireless. Dubbed the Crossfade Wireless, these headphones will play nicely with devices that use Bluetooth. However there is the option of plugging in a cable if that’s what you prefer, like if you require absolutely lag-free audio, like when you’re mixing audio or DJ-ing live.

It should be noted that these aren’t just a wireless version of the Crossfade M-100s. V-Moda claims that they have made some improvements, like refining the headphone’s 50mm drivers. The Bluetooth antennas have also been tuned to Android Wear and Apple Watch wearables in mind.

The company is also boasting that the new headphones will offer up less latency compared to more traditional wireless models. So how much will these bad boys cost? They will be priced at $299 and are available via V-Moda’s website.
