Let’s say for some reason the power supply unit, that huge brick on the Xbox One decided to fail. This means that you can power up your console anymore. This is a bummer and for some reason and for the longest time ever, Microsoft did not sell official power supply units. This meant that gamers had to resort to third-party units or try to get the existing unit repaired.
In fact there have been some users who were complaining about the issue on Reddit but thankfully that has all changed. Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb recently responded to the Reddit thread claiming that Microsoft will now be selling additional Xbox One power supply units.
According to Hyrb, “Hey gang, I have an update on this. I have worked w/ the Support team and we’ve enabled the option to purchase additional Xbox One power supply units via https://myservice.xbox.com. I have not had a chance to check it out myself yet – but the team just emailed me to let me know they have added that option to the online tool.”
So for Xbox One gamers looking to get an additional power supply unit, all you’d have to do is head on over to theXbox website where you should be able to order one for yourself.
