1passwordAs some of you guys have heard over the weekend, popular password manager LastPass was recently acquired by remote-access service LogMeIn. While the resources from LogMeIn will no doubt help to further develop the password manager, there are probably some LastPass users who might not be too pleased by the news.

That being said it seems that to capitalize on LastPass’ sale and/or the unhappy LastPass customers, AgileBits has announced that they will be giving its 1Password password manager a 40% price cut across all versions of the software. This includes Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android.

What does this mean? According to the listing on the AgileBits Store, 1Password for the Mac/Windows is priced at $29.99 which is down from its original price of $49.99. Alternatively customers can opt to pay for the Mac + Windows bundle where it is priced at $41.99 for both platforms together.

For those interested in getting the Pro Features on iOS or Android, the discount will now see the features unlocked fro $5.99, but otherwise the app is still free if you’d rather not have the pro features. If you’d like to download the app, hit up the iTunes App Store or Google Play for the details.
