htc-one-a9_ubergizmo_10The HTC One A9 was recently launched and according to our hands-on review, HTC will be pricing it at $399.99 as the launch price. However the question is with HTC offering 16GB and 32GB models, which model will be the one that customers will be paying $399.99 for? It is assumed that it would be the 16GB model, but turns out it isn’t.

According to HTC USA’s Jeff Gordon, he tweeted in response to customers asking about the price, and according to him he claims that the model being sold on HTC’s US website will be the 32GB model. This means for the price of $399.99, you will be buying the 32GB HTC One A9, which we reckon is a pretty good deal.

The website does not state explicitly which model that customers will be paying for, so hopefully this clears this up. Gordon also responded to another customer who suggested that HTC should update the website to better reflect this, to which he responded in the affirmative. So if this hasn’t been updated yet, note that the $399.99 price is for the 32GB model.

It is also only for the US market as other markets will probably see a different price. It also seems that there will not be an option for the 16GB model for the US, at least for now, so it’s either the 32GB model or nothing at all.
