Acer-New logoIt looks like the folks over at Acer are pretty serious about making sure that they will come up with some decent handsets – or even higher end models that should be able to hold a candle to the other competition that are in the market at the moment. In fact, it seems that the Taiwanese firm has committed themselves to roll out a Jade Primo 2 successor some time in 2016, where they are keeping their fingers crossed to achieve the magical number of 10 million smartphone shipments next year.

Word from Acer is, they have delivered the flagship Jade Primo this year, and intend to have not one, but two flagship models released next year, where it would be the Predator 6 as well as the Jade Primo 2. Sounds pretty interesting for the non-iOS and non-Android world – and I am referring to the Windows realm, of course.

It also gives rise that there will be a solid future for Acer’s new range of Predator devices, although this does seem to be in its infancy at the moment. Well, with the Acer Predator 8 gaming tablet having arrived at the FCC earlier last month, you know for sure that this is one serious endeavor on which Acer has embarked on.
