If you’ve ever tried to record video on your camera or GoPro, sometimes the resulting footage can be a bit nauseating to watch due to the camera shake. Sometimes this also renders the footage unusable. Now we have seen a variety of stabilizers released in the past, but if you wanted something stylish and function, the Aetho Aeon stabilizer might be the one for you.

Unlike some stabilizers that might require the user to wear the device on their bodies, the Aeon is a handheld gimbal. What it does is that it attempts to separate the GoPro from the gimbal via an axis. This allows the GoPro to maintain its position, while at the same time letting the user move their arms about freely.

If you think that the Aeon is just another gimbal designed differently, think again. The Aeon comes with a built-in LCD display that shows you what the GoPro is filming. This means that if you don’t have a GoPro with a built-in display or if you’d rather not run around with your phone in the other hand, this feature will come in handy.

There is also a joystick that lets you manually position the camera and move it about as needed. The built-in GoPro accessory mount also ensures that you can use it with other GoPro accessories. Aetho has also promised a 5 hour battery life with the Aeon. If this sounds like a stabilizer you might be interested in, head on over to its Indiegogo page and help fund the project.
