amazon-apps-free

Amazon has made a habit of offering some popular apps and games for free from time to time, it’s a good way for the company to promote the fact that it also has an Appstore for Android applications, and just make people feel good by giving them free stuff. Amazon is getting into the Halloween spirit with its latest apps and games offering, this time around the cache is worth $70 and all of it can be downloaded for absolutely no charge at all.

Scary Good Deals, that’s what Amazon is calling it, is a limited time offer with more than 30 different apps and games being offered for free. It does include some popular offers such as LEGO Star Wars Microfighters and Scribblenauts Remix. The list also includes AVG Antivirus PRO, which normally costs $11.99, and Runtastic PRO which is priced at $4.99 normally. Both apps have featured in previous deals as well.

Some of these apps do offer in-app purchases to open additional functionality or beat levels in games, that’s not something that Amazon controls, it’s developers who add in-app purchases as a way to make money once they’ve sent out the app, so keep that in mind as well.

All of these apps and games will be available to download for free until October 31st. The Amazon Appstore is required for download, it works nicely with an Android device from any OEM.
