magic-accessoriesWhen it comes to accessories for the Apple range of notebooks and desktops, you can be sure that the industrial design of Apple shines through completely – the Magic Mouse, for instance, proved to be quite the looker when it was first unveiled, and went down well with the overall design of the MacBooks and iMacs of that era. This time around, Apple has decided to provide a hardware refresh in the form of new wireless accessories which will include the all-new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2 – which are in line with rumors of such accessories earlier on.

This family of Magic devices have been redesigned in order to deliver a sense of more comfort than ever before, sporting rechargeable batteries which will do away with the need for disposable batteries – making it a plus point for our environment, while the new Magic Trackpad 2 will also see Apple’s revolutionary Force Touch interface arrive on the desktop, which will definitely add a whole new dimension to the iMac experience.

The all-new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2 are said to be more comfortable, capable and environmentally friendly. The new Magic Keyboard boasts of a full-size keyboard in a sleek new design that requires 13% less space on your desktop, while sporting a new scissor mechanism and lower profile that makes it all the more stable for a precise and comfortable typing experience.

As for the new Magic Mouse 2, it will be lighter in essence, is sturdier and boasts of an optimized foot design for a smoother glide. It will also deliver Force Touch to the desktop for the first time. The new Magic Keyboard will retail for $99 a pop, while the Magic Mouse 2 has an asking price of $79, with the Magic Trackpad 2 going for $129. [Press Release]
