In the past we have seen how some games created for the Sony PlayStation 4 have resulted in better graphics and framerates compared to the Microsoft Xbox One. Now if you’re looking forward to playing Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate which is expected to be released in a few days, you might be pleased to learn that there does not appear to be any perceivable difference.

The folks at GameSpot have recently put together a graphics comparison and compared both the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game. Based on what we can tell, it seems that if there is any difference, it might not be immediately perceivable. Both consoles appear to run pretty smoothly and the quality in textures seems to be more or less similar to each other.

It is possible that Ubisoft had capped the framerates of both games to ensure that regardless of the platform, gamers will still be able to enjoy a relatively similar experience. Of course some might argue that Ubisoft could be purposely handicapping the game for the sake of one console, but we suppose that’s a debate for another day.

In any case if you have several minutes to spare, do check out the video above to see the graphics comparison, and let us know what you think! Are there very huge differences between the PS4 and Xbox One version of the game?
