overwatchWhile Blizzard has released many titles over the years, all of them were based on existing franchises, even if they deviated from them quite a bit. This includes Hearthstone which is based on the Warcraft franchise, and Heroes of the Storm which is basically an amalgamation of all of Blizzard’s games to date.

This is why Overwatch is a game that many are curious about as it will be the first new franchise for Blizzard in a very long time. Now we have seen various gameplay videos and trailers in the past, but if you’d like to see how the game actually handles, you might be interested to learn that Blizzard will be livestreaming the game on Twitch this coming Thursday.

The game will be played by Twitch broadcasters Ellohime and HayliNic and they will be taking the game for a spin for about 90 minutes. In the meantime, Blizzard will also be providing some developer commentary so what gamers will be able to get an idea of how the game was developed and what Blizzard was aiming for.

The developer also notes that the version that will be livestreamed will also be more or less similar to what the upcoming beta will feature, so if you’d like to tune in to the livestream, it will begin at 1PM ET and 10AM PT and can be viewed either via HayliNic or Ellohime’s Twitch channels.
