Till this day we still do not have the official details on when the BlackBerry Priv will be officially sold, go up for pre-order, or have all of its specs revealed. In fact BlackBerry seems to be taking their time by teasing photos and videos, but it seems that we might now have a date to look forward to.

According to a listing on Carphone Warehouse, they have officially begun taking pre-orders for the BlackBerry Priv where customers can opt to pay £49 a month in monthly repayments, or sign up for a line with O2 where it will cost £59 a month for the phone and the plan. Interestingly enough Carphone Warehouse has even listed the date of the handset’s release which has been pegged for the 6th of November.

Now we’re not sure if that is the official release date or if the retailer is simply listing a placeholder date, but it does sound awfully specific as far as dates are concerned. In fact the folks at Carphone Warehouse have even posted their own hands-on video of the BlackBerry Priv which you can check out above.

The company does not list specs of the phone that we do not already know, like its 5.4-inch QHD display, QWERTY keyboard, a Schneider-Kreuznach certified camera, and a 3,410mAh battery. Given that the prices and carrier options are for the UK, we’re not sure if the 6th November date is applicable for just the UK or the rest of the world, but either way we guess we’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store.
