Netflix has teamed up with Marvel to create original series based on Marvel’s iconic super heroes, Daredevil is one of those original series which was released in typical Netflix fashion, all episodes at once, earlier this year. Even though the second season is not due until 2016 Netflix and Marvel have released the first teaser for Daredevil season 2, reminding viewers that Daredevil’s work is far from over.
Marvel’s Daredevil cast was present at the New York Comic-Con over the weekend for a panel discussion as well as to meet and greet with fans, which is why now seems like the perfect moment as any to release the first teaser for Daredevil season 2.
It starts off with a quick recap of everything that has happened over the previous season and also includes about half a minute’s worth of footage from the upcoming season. The teaser also introduces two new characters, Elektra and Frank Castle, comic book readers will be well aware of how their story plans into that of our hero.
Daredevil season 2 won’t be released before 2016 however there’s another Netflix-Marvel creation that’s going to be released just next month, Jessica Jones, a teaser for that show has already been released. Netflix will release all episodes of Jessica Jones for on-demand streaming come November 20th.
