Halloween’s here this weekend, so you can be sure that you would be on the receiving end of your fair share of scares along the way. Having said that, what are some of the costumes that you would like to wear at a party? Do you want to be ghoul-like in nature, or do you prefer to have something more modern – perhaps getting around on a magic carpet of sorts? Here’s a creative way to scare trick or treaters to your home – with a drone dressed up as a ghost, as you can see in the video above.

Imagine how much more terrifying it would be if it could have some sort of backlight attached to it, giving it an eerie glow at night as it hovers around. Of course, this might sear the imaginations of many that ghosts no longer hover around silently, as there is that whirring sound of the drone’s motor underneath all the external facade.

Dressing up a drone to look like that of a ghost or even the Grim Reaper himself is no mean task, that is for sure, and we are pleased to see how modern day technology can be used in order to turn a holiday or event into an even more fun one. Of course, one does wonder what happens if there is a strong gust of wind, and the cloth bits of the ghost flies up to interfere with the propellers or motor of the drone?
