Unless you have the connections and the skills, getting into a top tech firm such as Google will be hard. In fact we wouldn’t be surprised given how awesome their offices look and all the interesting products that Google puts out there that many people want to work for them, although how many actually end up getting a job there is probably a lot less.

However recently through an organization called Senior Wish of a Lifetime, the organization and Google helped to make a 97-year old woman’s dream come true. Olive Horrell is 97-years old and she had always dreamt of being an engineer, but it seems that back in the day when gender stereotypes were more commonplace, Horrell’s dad told her that it would be impossible as they would never hire a woman.

Fast forward to today, Horrell sort of got her wish. Basically the folks at Google took the 97-year old aspiring engineer around the Google offices. She met the folks at the Google Doodle team, as well as taking Google products like Translate, Cardboard, Photos, and more for a spin and was also given demonstrations.

Heck, the folks at Google were also nice enough to take Horrell for a spin in the company’s self-driving car where it took her around the campus and for lunch at the Google Cafe. If you’d like to see how Horrell spent her day at Google, check out the video above by the folks at CNET.
