Halloween is approaching which means that we can expect there to be a lot of Halloween-themed events in the near future, like themed food, themed drinks, and of course themed video games which we have seen in the past in games such as World of Warcraft and their Hallow’s End event.
That being said if you are playing GTA Online, you might be interested to learn that the game could be getting a Halloween-themed update in the near future. This is thanks to GTA modder Yan2295 who recently discovered that in the upcoming GTA Online update, there are files and allude to Halloween, like “mphalloween” for example.
Along with the file, he also discovered 12 new masks which is speculated to be for the pedestrians in the game, giving them a Halloween/demonic makeover. Rockstar has yet to make any public announcement regarding the update and if there might be some kind of Halloween theme involved, so it could be a surprise.
Like we said, we’ve seen many companies take advantage of the holidays to push out something special to customers, and we’ve seen it in video games, so it doesn’t really seem like a stretch to think that this is something Rockstar could be working on.
