With the launch of its new title coming closer each passing day 343 Industries has started the hype machine for Halo 5: Guardians. Fans of this Xbox franchise have been anxiously waiting for the new title to be released, it will be available later this month, but for now they will have to make do with the information and details that the developer is slowly providing. Today the launch trailer has been published online which features Halo 5: Guardians gameplay footage.

343 Industries has released quite a few trailers and TV spots over the past few weeks but much of the plot has been shrouded in mystery, that’s just one of the ways that it’s building hype for the new game, and that’s what’s going to make this launch trailer even more enjoyable.

The launch trailer is a bit different as it features actual gameplay footage from Halo 5: Guardians. It obviously doesn’t reveal everything but we do get an idea of what to expect from the game, a teaser of the confrontation between Master Chief and Spartan Locke has also been thrown in for good measure.

343 Industries also confirmed several important details about Halo 5: Guardians microtransactions today, the pricing has been confirmed as well. Halo 5: Guardians will be available exclusively on the Xbox One come October 27th.
