huawei-honor-7__02When it comes to modern day mobile devices, we do look forward to making sure that our devices would be equipped with the latest and greatest updates and software versions – it makes plenty of sense after all. Well, Huawei, the world’s third largest smartphone vendor, already knows just which of its mobile devices will be on the receiving end of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, and has also affirmed that the very first rollout could happen as early as November this year. In fact, the Huawei Honor 7 looks set to receive the honor (pardon the pun) of picking up Android 6.0 Marshmallow first among all the other Huawei devices.

According to Huawei marketing executive Xi Zhao, a beta release of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Honor 7 will be released not too far down the road, as Zhao is looking at a time frame of approximately four weeks. Hence, by the time the end of November rolls around, all Honor 7 owners might want to keep a keen eye out on whether their device would pick up Android 6.0 Marshmallow or not. Do bear in mind that a beta version is sure to be accompanied by its fair share of bugs and what not, but at least there is some progress in this department.
