The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus have a feature called 3D Touch, just in case you didn’t know. Basically what it does is it measures the amount of force you exert onto the screen, and depending on how hard/long you press, certain functions will appear. For example pressing hard on a message will allow its full contents to pop up without you having to open it in full.

That being said, it looks like someone has successfully managed to hack/reverse engineer 3D Touch, and what happened is that the phone can now be used as a digital weighing scale, which you can see in the video above where they tested out the hack by weighing a couple of plums.

Developed by Simon Gladman, the end result is actually pretty cool. However it should be noted that the app is currently not available for download. However Gladman has put up the source code online for those who might be interested in tinkering around with it, although it seems unlikely that Apple will be accepting this app into the iTunes App Store anytime soon.

This means at best, you will probably see it as a jailbreak release. In the meantime we should point out that this is not the first time someone has thought of this idea. The Huawei Mate S already has such a feature and comes with a scale app pre-loaded, but this would be a first of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
