kangaroo-with-tv1With the advent of PCs-on-a-stick, it would seem to suggest that we are moving towards an era in which unless we are a power user, we can get by with a PC the size of a stick as opposed to having big CPU towers sitting in our rooms or living rooms. However there are some limitations to such a setup, like lack of ports for example.

However if you still want a small and barely noticeable setup, then the Kangaroo by InFocus might be of interest to you. As you can see in the photo above, the Kangaroo is a PC that’s about the size of a smartphone/portable hard drive. It is small enough to fit in your pocket meaning that portability is definitely not an issue.

The comes with a variety of ports so that you can connect multiple peripherals and displays. In fact it can even connect to an iPad to use as a display in the event that you truly need a portable workstation. In terms of specs, it is powered by an Intel Cherry Trail (Atom Z8500) processor clocked at 2.24GHz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage.

It can be expanded to 128GB thanks to the microSDXC support, and it will also come with Windows 10 Home Edition preinstalled, which according to the folks at BGR runs pretty smoothly. The Kangaroo is priced at $99 and will be available for purchase starting today. For more information, head on over to its website.
