Microsoft has released the preview build of its next Windows 10 update which is going to add a couple of rather interesting features to the latest iteration of Windows. Microsoft recently revealed that the latest version of its operating system is now powering 110 million devices across the globe with the number growing rapidly with each passing day as more and more devices hop on the Windows 10 bandwagon.

The company has said in the past that it will provide a lightweight messaging app for Windows 10 that has Skype integration, that app is finally available to preview testers. Microsoft’s new Messaging app for Windows 10 is fairly basic right now but does provide access to features like Skype video and audio calls as well as messaging in a native application.

It has even started linking Skype usernames with mobile numbers which will make it much easier for people to find friends who are also using Skype without first having to find out their user ID. Inking support for Cortana is also included in the upcoming release, users will be able to create reminders by simply creating notes with a stylus.

The update brings improvements for Microsoft Edge web browser as well, the tab preview feature that we previously reported on is live in this build, some user interface tweaks are also present. Once the preview build passes from the testers it shouldn’t take too long to arrive for everyone else.
