Nexus-6P-UI-06There you have it – the Nexus 6P, a smartphone that was built by the third largest smartphone vendor in the world, Huawei, which became official in the previous week alongside the Nexus 5X from LG, will be arriving in Japan on the 9th of October. The thing is, you will not be able to pick up the Nexus 6P from just about any mobile carrier out there, since it looks set to remain as a SoftBank exclusive in the Land of the Rising Sun. Pre-orders for the SoftBank-bound handset is set to happen this 9th of October.

Not only that, there is another added incentive of picking up this high end smartphone from Japan – as it will be the only place in the world right now that will come with the elusive and exclusive gold color that we talked about earlier on. There is a caveat to that though – it will only arrive in gold if you pick the 64GB configuration, and it will be known officially as the Nexus 6P Special Edition. Interestingly enough, none of the colors will be available in the 128GB model. Do you think that the shade of gold would help make this handset into a best seller, or will it fare just as well if there was no gold option?
