fallout 4Demos are a great way for users to try out new software and games before buying. After all there is only so much information one can glean from reviews and videos that just can’t beat trying it for yourself. Unfortunately if you were hoping that Bethesda would offer a demo for Fallout 4, you will be disappointed.

The company has confirmed that they will not be offering gamers a chance to demo Fallout 4 ahead of its release. Why is this, you ask? According to Bethesda’s Pete Hines, he claims that it would be “impossible” to cut up the game into a smaller piece for gamers to try it out. We’re not sure why that is, but chances are the game was created without a demo planned to begin with, so splitting it at this stage of development is probably not feasible.

That being said, it should be noted that some previous titles from Bethesda, such as older Fallout games, were released without a demo and they went on to become huge commercial successes, leading to the dedicated and loyal fanbase that we are seeing today. This also means that gamers new to the Fallout franchise will need to take a leap of faith with Bethesda, or at least play the older titles to see what all the fuss is about.

In the meantime, Fallout 4 has been pegged for a release on the 10th of November and even before its release, it seems that the game has already gone gold. Either way we guess we’ll just have to wait for the reviews to see if the wait has been worth it.
