There has been much speculation about when No Man’s Sky will arrive, many have been anxiously waiting for this space game and it was expected that Sony might make some kind of announcement at the Paris Games Week. During its press conference at the event Sony has confirmed that No Man’s Sky release is now pegged at June 2016. This ends months of speculation about a possible release date.

It merits mentioning here that Sony has only confirmed when No Man’s Sky will be arriving on the PlayStation 4. The title will be coming to PC as well and it’s not immediately clear if the PC release will also take place in June next year.

No Man’s Sky was announced back in December 2013 and there has been quite a lot of hype surrounding this title since then given the game’s scope and impressive visuals. Hello Games is the developer that has been working on it for the past few years, it says that the title will have a massive 18 quintillion procedurally generated worlds to explore with no two being the same.

Obviously the sheer scale has forced many to ask questions about whether or not the title will be able to deliver, the ultimate verdict will come from players who may or may not love it, but we’ll have to wait until June 2016 to find out for sure.
