galaxy-view-fccRight at the beginning of this month, there were whispers going around that mentioned how the Samsung Galaxy View tablet was spotted in benchmarks, giving rise to hope that this is one tablet which will be able to make a mark of its own by the time it hits the market. It now looks as though that time is not too far off – especially when you take into consideration how the Samsung Galaxy View has already picked up the all important approval by the folks over at the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and through the various FCC documents, we have come to learn that this particular tablet will carry the model name of SM-T677A.

As you can tell by the image above of the device’s back, you would find that an AT&T logo is located right smack in the top middle segment, which more or less gives the game away that this particular tablet will be specially designed in order to play nice with AT&T’s frequencies. Apart from that, there are different details such as the letter ‘A’ in the name, a bunch of supported LTE bands that act as “little birds” to confirm that this is one tablet which will be making its way to the carrier. The presence of stereo speakers behind in the sketch should also be able to keep those who love being entertained on their tablets happy.

Other specifications include a form factor of 447mm x 272mm, and a diagonal size of 513mm, which would see the display being approximately 18.6”.
