There’s some great news coming out of Paris today for PlayStation 4 owners who happen to be fans of the Tekken franchise. During the company’s press conference at the Paris Games Week executive producer at Bandai-Namco Katsuhiro Harada confirmed Tekken 7 PS4 release. The game has only been released on arcades in Japan so far and locations tests have been conducted at select arcades in North America over the summer. This will be the first time that this title will be coming over to a gaming console.

It was never really said that Tekken 7 will never arrive on consoles, fans of the franchise knew that it was only a matter of time before Tekken 7 made it over to consoles.

Harada finally confirmed today that Tekken 7 will be coming to the PlayStation 4, unfortunately he didn’t say when it will arrive. Bandai-Namco and Sony both are quite about a possible release date as yet so we’ll have to wait for this bit of information, which is undoubtedly what many fans are most interested in finding out.

Even though he didn’t provide a confirmed release date, Harada revealed that the console version of Tekken 7 is going to come with new content that has not been released for the original arcade version of the game. A new trailer has been released today, and it was also confirmed that the title will be coming to the Xbox One as well.
