go90

We had been hearing for some time now that Verizon is going to launch a new mobile video service soon and the company has officially launched one to the public today, it’s called Go90 and the service is geared towards younger users who would rather spend more time watching video content on their mobile devices as opposed to a TV. The app for this new mobile video service is now out for both iOS and Android.

Verizon had actually launched Go90 in beta last month with a select group of users, though now that it has been publicly launched more people will get to know about it and try it out.

Go90 will provide access to a wide variety of content that includes content from conventional TV networks, multi-channel networks, live events, online video as well as NFL games and concerts. Networks like Comedy Central, Food Network, ESPN, Discovery, Vice, Maker Studios and many others have signed up to provide content on Go90.

Verizon promises more than 35 exclusive original series and over 8,000 titles for Go90 at launch and expects to double it by the end of this year, according to the company users will find 15 of the 30 most-viewed network shows and 9 out of 15 most-viewed shows on the internet.

The Go90 app is available for free via the App Store and the Google Play Store.
