Windows 10 is coming to Xbox One in the form of a dashboard update which is going to bring an entirely new experience to the console, it was confirmed by the company in August that it’s going to provide the new experience to select members of the Preview program. Since then it has been gradually allowing more members to get in on the fun and soon it’s going to release the new experience for all Xbox One preview members.

Microsoft has reportedly started sending out messages to members of the Preview program to let them know that they will soon be getting access to the new dashboard experience.

All Preview members will soon be updated to the new experience, those who don’t want it can opt out of Preview from the Registration tile in the Xbox Preview dashboard app. They will then have to wait like every other Xbox One owner for the public release of this Windows 10 powered update.

The new experience brings an overhauled Dashboard and adds several new features to Xbox One, in the update that’s expected to be released in November Microsoft is also likely to flip the switch on backwards compatibility.

Microsoft has not yet confirmed when it will release the new experience for all Xbox One owners but if reports are any indication the Windows 10 powered update might arrive in the coming month.
