amazon-sign-652x350Black Friday is next Friday, obviously, but it looks like Amazon wants customers to start their shopping early. In an announcement by Amazon, the company has revealed that come this Friday, the 20th of November, they will be kicking off their Black Friday sales which as you can tell by the dates, is a good week early than most other retailers.

This is not a mistake. Instead the company is calling it Eight Days of Holiday Deals and basically new deals will be added all the time as often as 5 minutes according to the company. We can only imagine that the better and bigger deals will appear as we inch closer towards Black Friday itself, but if you see something you want in meantime, go for it.

Amazon also announced that they will be holding a Deals of the Day which will start at midnight on Thanksgiving itself (26th of November). There will be 10 of this, followed by another 10 on Black Friday. No word on what exactly will be discounted, but given how competitive Black Friday sales can get, we expect you should be able to pick up some good stuff.

There will also be various lightning deals that the company plans on offering, and the good news is that if you’re a Prime subscriber, you will get a 30 minute headstart compared to regular Amazon shoppers.
