It has only been a couple of weeks since the iPad Pro went on sale, Apple certainly took its time to launch this tablet after it was first unveiled a few months back, and now a popular Apple analyst has claimed that the tablet is facing production issues. However the analyst does mention that even though the tablet faces two particular issues during the production they haven’t really done much to impact sales of Apple’s first 12 inch tablet.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI securities said in a note to investors that there are two production issues that the iPad Pro is facing. Sharp is apparently not ramping up production fast enough to supply the adequate amount of screens that Apple needs to put together its 12.9 inch iPad.

The second is linked to the manufacturing of the Apple Pencil, a stylus that can be separately purchased for iPad Pro, the analyst says that production is not without its hiccups and that’s holding things up. However since the Pencil is sold independent of the iPad Pro it won’t have any impact on the tablet’s sales.

Sharp is currently the only supplier of the iPad Pro’s screen but Samsung is expected to join the ranks in the near future, which will go a long way in eliminating this production issue, as the assembly process eventually works out the kinks to ensure that production of the Apple Pencil continues without any problems.
