Quantic Dream co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumiere confirmed via the official PlayStation blog today that the Beyond: Two Souls PS4 release is just around the corner. The title comes with graphical improvements as well as features most requested by fans, and gives them yet another chance to experience the story of Jodie Holmes that’s played by the indomitable Ellen Page. The protagonist is a young woman with supernatural powers whose journey is linked with that of the complex Dr. Dawkins, portrayed by Willem Dafoe.

Beyond: Two Souls for PlayStation 4 brings improved 1080p graphics with bloom and depth of field effects, motion blur as well as improved lighting and shadows. When playing as the Entity the game will make use of the DualShock 4 speaker to provide a more immersive experience.

Increased difficulty in a certain fight scene is also promised with improved controls for all action sequences, players will be able to replay the title in chronological order once they have completed Beyond: Two Souls. The PS4 version also includes the Enhanced Experiments DLC.

Guillaume de Fondaumiere also confirmed today that Heavy Rain will be released on the PlayStation 4 next year, March 1st to be precise, those who attend PlayStation Experience this year will get a chance to go hands-on with both Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain.

Beyond: Two Souls will be available for download via the PlayStation Store starting November 24th for $29.99.
