2877887-fallout4_trailer_end_1433355589As much as we would love games to launch without a hitch, due to the way PCs of gamers are setup, the different software and configurations that they have, sometimes this can lead to a game behaving in ways that are completely unintended and unforeseen by the developer even during beta testing until it is released to the masses.

That being said, it seems that Bethesda’s recently released Fallout 4 might have run into some issues, and while there are several bugs and glitches in the game, this particular bug can be described as potentially game-breaking. Basically what happens is that in a quest that takes players to the Mosignor Plaza, the game will crash straight to desktop without any error message of any kind.

According to some of the attempts to workaround this problem, so far pretty much nothing has worked. This has involved reinstalling the game, restarting the game, creating a new character, to more drastic measures like upgrading their OS from Windows 8 to Windows 10, all with no avail. Changing the graphical options also does not seem to help.

Not all gamers are affected by this so at the moment, it is unclear as to what might be the cause of the problem. Bethesda has yet to officially comment on the bug, but hopefully for the sake of all the gamers who bought the game we will see a fix soon.
