2877887-fallout4_trailer_end_1433355589Try as they might, it is safe to say that no game or software can ever be released without there being a bug or two. Sometimes the bug might simply be easily ignored and does not affect the overall experience, or some (like in the case of Warner Bros’ Arkham Knight) can result in a bug that makes the game unplayable.

Several days ago we reported that players had stumbled across a game-breaking bug in Bethesda’s recently released Fallout 4. However based on the feedback, it seems that it isn’t particularly widespread which is good news for the majority of gamers, but it is still a bug that needs addressing anyway. The good news is that Bethesda has a patch planned for next week that will hopefully address the issue.

Bethesda claims that Fallout 4 has been their most solid and robust release ever, but also acknowledge that despite the hundreds of QA testers, it would be impossible to replicate a scenario of millions of players playing the game, which is why the patch they are planning on releasing next week will deal with that.

The developer will be first releasing a beta patch on Steam next week, and assuming all goes well, the full patch will be released for PCs and then followed by consoles, so gamers if you are experiencing any problems with the game, keep an eye out next week for the update.
