GT_FrontBackEarlier this year Microsoft took the wraps off the Elite wireless controller for the Xbox One console. The idea of the controller is to bring about more customizability to gamers, allowing them to customize the controller to their liking. Now it seems that the folks at Microsoft have created a new controller, this time designed for Forza 6.

However this is a controller you will not be able to buy as it exists more of a concept. It is a working device but it’s more to show off some of the possibilities in terms of controller design. The controller features a “liquid blue” design and as you can tell in the photos, there are some changes made to the controls.

For example the left thumbstick was designed to resemble the Ford GT’s steering wheel, while the trigger buttons on the back are meant to resemble the brake and gas pedals. The battery door of the controller is also transparent in homage to the Ford GT’s engine-revealing window, and the best part is that it actually features carbon fiber accents.

Like we said, the controller is not for sale although we’re sure that many gamers would love to get their hands on it. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen custom controllers created for Forza, or at least designed to give off some kind of car/racing theme.
