google_star_warsEveryone loves Easter Eggs. There’s that thrill of uncovering a little secret that makes it so exciting. Now if you’re after more Easter Eggs, you’re in luck because Google has got you covered with a pretty awesome Star Wars one. Now if you’ve seen any of the Star Wars movies, you know that the opening text the scrolls upwards is pretty damn iconic.

Turns out Google’s Easter Egg is similar. If you were to head on over to Google search and search for “a long time ago in a galaxy far far away”, you will be greeted by this very cool and awesome Easter Egg, in which your search results will be displayed like how the intro credits are displayed in the movie.

Now it’s no secret that Google is really getting into Star Wars (who isn’t?) because just earlier, the company announced a new feature that basically lets you reskin your Google account to resemble either the Light or Dark Side of the Force, so we guess this little Easter Egg is just the cherry on top of the cake.

Google expects to roll out more Star Wars-related features in the near future leading up to the movie, which has been pegged for a release on the 18th of December, so fans of the franchise will definitely want to keep an eye out for it.
