gta-running-bckGTA Online is a rather interesting place to be at, especially when it has a casino for gamers to visit in addition to other DLCs that have been introduced over the years. This time around, Rockstar Games has announced that there is a new Grand Theft Auto Online adversary mode which will be known as Running Back. Football fans will definitely find this to be a gleeful addition, as this particular mode has been inspired by American football.

It is available just in time for Thanksgiving as well, although it will hit the likes of the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC only. Similar to the other more recent updates, last-generation players will not be able to gain access to this mode, although one should be able to tell from the title alone that Running Back is more or less a game of American football, except with cars in the picture.

Rockstar has this to say about Running Back, “Two teams (a total of 4-8 players) square off from opposing sides of a roadway. The elusive Runner, behind the wheel of a Benefactor Panto, must go the distance and get across the end zone line at the far end of the highway with the help of their offensive teammates in BF Biftas. Meanwhile, their defensive-minded opponents (also in Biftas) must ruthlessly block, crash and pummel their way to try to stop them.”

Running Back can be played in GTA Online at these locations: Ranton Canyon Bridge, La Mesa Bridge, and Zancudo Tunnel.
