htc-logo-sketchWant to get your hands on HTC software or hardware before everyone else? Last year, HTC launched a similar program that offered users private previews for upcoming software updates, but it looks like that preview program has since been expanded and will now include hardware which is pretty awesome.

This was announced on Reddit by HTC USA in which they wrote, “Today we invite, the most dedicated members of the Android community, to raise their hands to help contribute with feedback, and suggestions. Whether you are on T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T or Verizon, we invite all to join this program to help contribute with your ideas. Within the Preview Program we ask owners to provide feedback on software, and even hardware before it’s widely released.”

In a way this program is more like a private beta of sorts. Many developers tend to offer private betas to their users before opening it up to the public, so essentially you could think of this as a private beta as opposed to being able to jump the line in terms of getting hardware and software. “Please take note that HTC Preview is not a way for users to jump to the front of the line for the latest update. It’s a responsibility — you accept to use what is provided as your daily driver.”

If you think that this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, HTC is currently accepting registrations via its website. Note that registering does not guarantee you a spot in the preview program, but you can try your luck anyway.
