Lenovo-Vibe-X3-Event-TeaserFor the most part it would seem that in terms of hardware specs of phones, a lot of devices these days are starting to look similar. Most high-end phones tend to feature QHD displays, while mid-rangers are sporting Full HD. We are also looking at quad, deca, and octa-core chipsets, cameras with high megapixel count, and so on.

However if there is one area that OEMs can still compete on it would be audio quality, which according to a recent Lenovo Vibe X3 teaser (via Times News), it looks like this is a feature the company is hoping will differentiate its upcoming phone from the competition. We can’t be 100% sure of this, but the use of Beethoven’s image, a piano, and the fact that images spotted on Tenaa reveal two front-facing speakers, it certainly does look like the audio quality of the phone could be a highlight feature.

We have seen companies in the past focus on its audio quality, and if the rumors are true, Samsung is also expected to do the same with its Galaxy S7 in 2016. That being said we suppose there’s only so much one can do with smartphone speakers, but if you do care about audio quality perhaps the Vibe X3 could be for you.

In terms of other specs, the Vibe X3 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 808 chipset under the hood, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 21MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and will be announced come 16th of November, so check back with us then for the details.
