minecraft-xboxoneeditionNintendo has a lot of great first-party titles, but sometimes gamers want more than just their share of Mario, Link, Yoshi, and so on. Sometimes third-party titles would be nice too. Now Minecraft has been out for a while now and so far the game has found its way onto every platform save for the Wii U.

The good news is that if you are a Wii U owner hoping for the day Minecraft arrives on your console, it seems that you’re in luck. It has recently been discovered that Minecraft for the Wii U is a possibility. According to a listing on the PEGI website, it looks like game was listed and was given a PEGI 7 rating.

Like we said Minecraft has been around for a while and has found its way onto computers, consoles, and even mobile devices, so it looks like Wii U gamers will finally be able to get their hands on the game, or so this listing has led us to believe. Unfortunately there is no official confirmation of the game arriving on the Wii U yet.

PEGI has also listed the game as being released today, the 12th of November. However it has been noted that there will be a Nintendo Direct conference later in which we could get an official announcement, so until then we suggest that Wii U gamers not get their hopes up just yet.
