Over the past couple of years Uber has expanded at an exponential rate, the ride hailing service is now available in dozens of countries across the globe. Millions of people take a ride for business every week, says Uber, but the ease that it provides can evaporate if one has to stress about keeping business and personal rides separate. After all you can’t really charge a personal trip to your company and to make sure that it’s easier for users to sort through this Uber is now adding business profiles.

Having to sort out business rides when the time comes to file expenses can be a tedious job, you have to locate the right receipt then print it out or upload it and then try to remember what business reason that ride was taken for. It can’t be managed properly if you tend to take dozens of business rides every week aside from hailing an Uber on your own time as well.

Business Profiles will allow the user to simply select whether a ride they’re taking is personal or for business, all it needs is just one tap, and eliminates scenarios where you might end up paying for a business ride out of your own pocket. It’s also possible to add expense memos and project codes to always remember what the ride was taken for, with receipts for word rides being sent to the work email.

The Business Profiles feature has now been rolled out for Uber on iOS, it shouldn’t take too long for this feature to arrive on Android as well, it certainly does wonders for those who take a lot of business as well as personal rides on Uber.
