v-moda znThe problem with regular earbud headphones is that because they don’t go very deeply into your ear’s canal that sometimes the sound isn’t as full as it could be. This is versus over-ear headphones and in-ear headphones that can sometimes offer up a more immersive listening experience.

Now if you’d rather not deal with the bulk of over-ear headphones, V-MODA has recently announced the Zn in-ear headphones. However you best hurry because according to V-MODA, these headphones are limited in nature so if you don’t move quick, they could be sold out before you get a chance to buy them.

So what so special about them, you ask? According to the company, and as the name of the headphones might have given it away, the Zn is made from a zinc alloy. V-MODA claims that the reason for choosing zinc is because the metal has been found to have some unique characteristics when it comes to construction, hardness, and resonance, thus resulting in a pair of headphones that is not only durable, but can deliver good sound.

The headphones will feature a pair of 8mm drivers that have been tuned to the midrange. The cables on the Zn headphones are made from Kevlar so they should be pretty durable too. The headphones are priced at $180 and if you’d like to get your hands on them, head on over to V-MODA’s website to place an order.
