whatsapp-logo-newWhatsApp is probably one of the most popular messaging apps available at the moment. It’s great for keeping in touch with friends and family members, and also organizing events by creating groups. However sometimes group messages and messages from others can become a bit too much to keep track of.

The good news is that in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, the company has included the ability for users to star messages. What does this mean? Basically starred messages are kind of like bookmarks for your messages. You make a note of a message you are interested in and you can revisit it later.

This might come in handy for those times when you are too busy to go through every single message, but at the same time you don’t want to forget to attend to them later. However this is only for the beta version of WhatsApp so unless you want to take part in the beta, you won’t be able to access this feature until it has been released to the masses.

This feature has already been made available on the iOS version of WhatsApp but to access it is the same. Basically you press a message within a chat, hold onto it, and the menu option to star it will popup. Starred messages will then be kept in a separate section which you can review later.
